Based in Sydney, Australia, I’ve spent over twenty years designing books for major publishers and independent authors. My career began in London at Random House UK, followed by a role as Design Manager at Allen & Unwin, before I established my own studio in 2002.
That foundation in major publishing taught me how to balance creativity with commercial awareness—how to create designs that look beautiful and work. I love the creative process of discovery and refinement—when exploration gradually reveals the design that truly serves the book.
I’ve designed hundreds of titles across fiction and non-fiction, combining strong visual storytelling with practical publishing insight. My approach is intuitive, collaborative, and grounded in experience—always listening, interpreting, and creating designs that connect books with their readers.
